Councillor Monthly Update – Jan Edition

Standing with Tumbler Ridge, BC

It has been a few days since the tragedy in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, and like many, I have struggled to find the right words. There is no language that can ease such loss, and no statement that can fully carry the weight of a community’s grief.

Even across distance, we are reminded that we belong to one another. My thoughts are with the families, students, educators, and all those affected as they walk through these painful days. May they feel surrounded by compassion, strength, and quiet support.

In solidarity,

Senos Timon, Councillor City of Saskatoon

Access Transit Now Serving Richard St. Barbe Baker Afforestation Area

Following a request raised in November 2025, Access Transit has added the Richard St. Barbe Baker Afforestation Area to its service list, providing accessible pick-up and drop-off for residents using mobility devices.
